    Exporting

I am trying to receive genealogy files from an out of state source that is not sure how to export these files. I am not a Reunion 10 or Mac user. What I would like is find someone in Richmond, Virginia area to assist this process. I may need a source near Groveton NH as well.

    Re: Reunion 10 Help

All of the genealogy software programs have a standard sharing format named GEDCOM. Usually the File menu will contain Import and Export functions. So, export from one computer as a GEDCOM file, ship the file to the other computer and import it. A great majority of the time this process goes very smoothly.

Thanks, I will investigate this method with my source in NH.
