    GEDCOM file

Hi there and Merry Christmas! If I send someone a gedcom file, how are the pictures transfered? Do I have to send them all separately? I'm hoping that somehow they just go with the file.

I kinda knew that. So, once the receiver of the GEDcom file puts them in his picture folder, are they found by Reunion? How does that work?

If you're going from Reunion to Reunion, it might be best to just send a Reunion family file. In either case (GEDCOM or family file), if you send pictures, Reunion should find them if the recipient puts them in the same place in their home folder that you keep them for your copy of Reunion.

Also, a Reunion 10 family file will contain thumbnails of your media files and if that's good enough, the full size copies wouldn't need to be sent separately.
