Some of my multimedia are documents written in cursive old English. I have provided transcriptions on many of these documents in the multimedia comments section. Reunion 10 now truncates these transcriptions. I'm able to move the boxes left and right between "Information" and "Comments", but not up and down.

Reunion 9 would display the whole comments section by allowing the user to move the display box up and down. Can this be restored?

OK, I learned the comments field is now limited to 1000 characters in Reunion 10. For us who have multimedia comments greater than 1000 characters from Reunion 9, what does Leister programmers expect us to do?

The reason I have such long comments is that I have many scanned old documents, i.e. deeds, law suits, wills, etc., written in old English cursive. I have included transcriptions of these hard to read documents which are very "wordy".

The dichotomy is if I make pdf documents of the transcriptions, they can't be read when observed in a web page (web project report) on the internet.

Can Leister at least advise how to do a search (Find) for those multimedia files with comments with greater than 1000 characters?

OK, I learned the comments field is now limited to 1000 characters in Reunion 10. For us who have multimedia comments greater than 1000 characters from Reunion 9, what does Leister programmers expect us to do?

The limit for a Multimedia comment in Reunion 9 was also 1,000 according to the Reunion 9 manual.

But I sure would appreciate it if the limit were raised to at least 2,500 to align with the limit of a memo and place note now.

You are probably right. I have been using Reunion for many years and I likely created those long comments in one of the early Reunion versions.
