Using Reunion 10.0.2, I started to create a Person Flag, using the Flag Preferences button; however, after I had clicked the Add Flag button, I decided not to create the new Flag.

Now, I cannot delete the Flag — the Delete button is greyed out. I tried naming the Flag and putting data in the Flag's data fields, but still am unable to delete. In fact, even when I select any of the other existing Flags, the Delete button is greyed out.

Is this a bug, or am I missing the obvious?

If you open the Field Preferences window by opening the Edit Person window, clicking the Add Event/Fact/Note button, and clicking Event Preferences, you won't be able to delete fields.

But if you get there via Reunion -> Preferences, you'll be able to delete the field.

Step by step...

Return to the Family View.
Choose Reunion -> Preferences.
Click the Fields button.
Click Person.
Click Flags.
Select the field in the list.
Click the Delete {FieldName} button beneath the list.

Frank, that worked; however, it is a puzzling, frustrating "feature." I suggest making deletion available from each menu that enables adding a flag category.
