My whole file is a big mess - help.

I started out not being very serious about this and I ended up trusting someone's work I shouldn't have trusted. I've rid my file of much of his "fiction" but I'm not sure I've gotten all of it out. Mostly I suspect that some of the name are right but details are wrong. Any ideas other than starting all over and typing all those names in again?

If I leave them all in the file and start checking details, how will I keep track of what has been checked and what hasn't?

You can add a flag that indicates that the information for the individual is verified. As you verify the info, you set the flag. You then can use Find Anything to find all who are verified/not verified.

If you need more granularity, you can create any number of flags.

Same idea, different perspective: flag the people you believe are suspect, and remove the flag as they're verified.
