My family file of 3521 people runs under 9.0c and 10.5.8 on a PowerPC G4 syncing to a 32gb iPod Touch. I can get into overview on the iPod but when I try to navigate around the different generations the app crashes.

I've deleted and re-loaded the app and re-synced the family file but still the same issue.

Help please.

This appears to be a problem introduced with Apple's new iOS 4.3

We are working on resolving the issue.

This problem has been addressed in Reunion for iPhone version 1.0.3, which is now available.

If you already own Reunion for iPhone, you can download this free update directly to your device. Tap the "App Store" icon on your iPhone and then tap "Updates" and finally tap "Update All."

Or, if your device is connected to your Mac via USB, you can open iTunes, click "Applications" in the "LIBRARY" list, click "x updates available," and then click "Download all free updates."

Note: this issue does not apply to Reunion for iPad.

Unfortunately this update now requires iOS 4.3, which the previous update did not. I can't upgrade the OS on my 2nd gen iPod Touch, which I appreciate is "ancient" in Apple terms.

Is there a way to restore support for older iOS versions?

Well, we fixed the Overview problem in version 1.0.3; however, when submitting the new app, we mistakenly set the iOS version information incorrectly. Thus, we've submitted another revision, 1.0.4, for approval by Apple. When it arrives, you'll be able to use it with your iPod Touch running the older iOS.

Our apologies for the mistake.

NOTE: for anybody who is NOT running iOS version 4.3, there is no change in the app. The only issue was a problem with the Overview and that only appears when using iOS 4.3.

Had three years of illness and only now am trying to resolve this issue... iPhone 3GS v4.0 and Mac Intel OS10.4.11. I also realize the need to upgrade to OS 10.5 and OS 10.5.6 but am not backedup yet and will lose two other apps I'm not yet ready.

Any ideas?
