Editing Logs on iPhone

How do you change content already entered on a LOG when accessing it on the iPhone? After bringing the LOG up, clicking on EDIT just places a date and a place to enter new content. Old content does not appear. Viewing the LOG and tapping on the screen does not bring up the keyboard. Any ideas?

How do you change content already entered on a LOG when accessing it on the iPhone?If the log you are trying to edit is over 1000 characters in length or if it contains any text formatting, you can only append to that log. This is due to the text entry limitations on the iPhone.
