I have read many of the somewhat lengthy discussion on the merits of various systems of sourcing such as Elizabeth Shown Mills (ESM), etc. and Reunion's reluctance to provide templates for specific sourcing methods. I am not a professional Genealogist but would like to have a good Resource system.
Would anyone be willing to share the templates they use for various Resources such as Census, Grave Sites, Vital Records, etc. I don't necessarily care if the templates are compliant with ESM all that I want is that the templates will set me in the direction of documenting such that if necessary I or others following me can find the information again. I understand the sensitivity of such a subject and have some trepidation in bringing it up. Therefore, if anyone responds and would prefer to do it off line my e-mail address is: RLPalmer@umich.edu.
