I didn't find this problem in a search but when I got reunion and the app it all seemed to work fine and my husband set it up and showed me what to do.

Now when I try to sync the two the app just closes as soon as I push the sync button on it. What is happening and how can I get it to sync?

Either I'm missing something or it is.

More often than not, any app simply closing is crashing. In most cases, it's probably a good idea to simply restart your iPhone. I've had it happen with numerous news apps the wife and I use, and even with Mail and/or Safari on occasion.

Julia,

Do you have your WiFi turned "ON' on your computer?

I have tried this numerous times as I keep hoping it will work that simply but no it hasn't helped.

What version of Reunion and Mac OS are you using?

Both are the latest greatest. So to say. New Mac OS X version 10.6.4

The reunion I just bought less than a month ago.

If there's no important data on the iPhone that can't be manually added to the file, delete the Reunion App from the iPhone then reinstall it from the App Store.

Note that when you go into the App Store it will seem as if you are purchasing it again - however, you will not be charged (you will get a message noting this before it starts downloading).

If you have a fairly large database, it will crash. Go to settings on iPhone and change Reunion to NOT open family at startup. All is well after that change.
