Sync issue with iPhone

I am also having a sync issue between iPhone and Reunion. When I first got Reunion for the iPhone all went well and right on to the phone. Now I have attempted MANY times and not successful. That "proceed" button never get activated. Can't tell you how many times I have read the website and watched the movie. Yes, I have the latest Reunion update, yes, I have Bonjour and, yes, I have the latest iMac, and, yes, I am frustrated. Now it is time to give up and move on with my life.

Apparently I am not the only one with this issue.

Hi Sheila,

Did you ensure that your iPhone is connected to the same network as your Mac before trying to sync?

Additionally, have you tried using the computer-to-computer network method, outlined here (http://www.leisterpro.com/iphone/questions/answers/hotel.php)? This method is the most likely to work, as there's no concern of other network devices (i.e. your cable/dsl router/access point) interfering with the Bonjour service.

If you've tried both of those and still are not able to sync, let us know - thanks!

Thanks, Mark. After taking a break I did try the computer-to-computer instructions and it finally worked. That was the only thing I had not tried. At least my file is updated now.

I seem to have the same problem as Sheila had. There's no problem to put my family file from Mac to iPhone. I can make changes in the iPhone and sync connection is OK. But when the changes shall be transferred the only thing that happens is the wheel running. I've waited for an hour if the transfer should take more time in that direction, but, no! I have had to put the changes manually in the computer file and than put the whole package back to iPhone. I think that wasn't the meaning? As I think the connection between the devices is OK I haven't tried the computer-to-computer method mentioned above.
