I volunteer in a Senior Center in Menlo Park California. Those of our members that are on Macs have used Reunion to import their genealogy information and pictures. We have an older member who died 5 years ago and her daughter is anxious to take her information in Reunion and update it. The information has been transferred to the daughter's newer computer and all the family file was converted to Reunion 9.0 Everything seemed to be working correctly and the person's ID card linked to everyone. When new cards of new additional members were added it failed. They found that all of the people in her family were correctly in the index but when the individual was clicked on the index the family card appeared blank for everyone. The program was set as default. Backup copies are available. Any suggestions to correct this problem?

If so, the problem may be the view displayed on the family card was changed by mistake. If so, it can be changed back to Reunion's default view by selecting "Default" from the View pop-up menu. (I.e. click on the View icon on the toolbar of the family card and select "Default.")
If the names do not appear on the family cards and/or the suggestion above does not fix the problem, I recommend that she send her family file to us, along with her most up-to-date backup copy. (There could be some type of linking problem or other corruption in her family file.)
Have her compress (or zip) the family files and send them (along with a note reminding us of the problem) to our Help email address, found here...

...Backup copies are available...Is there an up-to-date backup copy that this problem does not exist in? If so, an alternative to sending her family file to us would be to revert to using that backup copy.
I hope this information is helpful:-)
