I have not worked in Reunion in about two months and I just can't remember which one I updated last, iphone or mac. I know that they are different because Reunion is finding changes between them. Is there a way to tell which file was updated last? Or is there some kind of comparison tool I can use, to see differences in the files. I just don't want to check the files person by person and I'm afraid that is what I need to do. :(
Thank you for the help,
Sydney

I know that they are different because Reunion is finding changes between them.If Reunion is indicating that there are changes to be downloaded when you go to:
File -> iPhone -> Get Changes from iPhone...
That indicates that there are changes on your iPhone that are not synced to the Family File on your Mac. Select the file in the list and click "Get Changes..." to have the changes incorporated into the Family File on your Mac.
Then, to ensure the iPhone copy has any changes you may have made on your Mac, re-upload it to the iPhone with:
File -> iPhone -> Put Family File on iPhone...

I don't understand. If I put the iphone file onto my computer and it was not the last file won't I delete info I may need. The same would be true in reverse. I just want to compare them before I delete something.
Thank you for the help,

If I put the iphone file onto my computer and it was not the last file won't I delete info I may need.Syncing does not replace the Family File on your Mac with the Family File on your iPhone, it adds the changes you made on your iPhone to the Family File on your Mac - the changes you make on your Mac won't be lost when you get the changes from the iPhone.

Thank you, I'll try it. I still wish there was a comparison tool because I have found differences in the files before, after syncing.

I understand your concern about losing or deleting something. It is always a good idea to make a backup before doing anything where you feel there is that risk. In this case, two backups--your Mac and your iPhone.
