I notice that when adding families on the iphone, i get an odd behaviour.
For example, I add a person, then spouse (wife), and children. Then I add the father to the husband, and his wife. Then i add their other children. Now, when these children are daughters, and i then go to add their spouses, the woman are on the left, rather than on the right. This makes no difference to me, except that it is now taking the name of the mother, and not the father, when I start adding their children. So, it it extra typing.
Is there a way to 'switch' the couple's locations, so that the man is ont the left, and the woman on the right, as this location seems to drive the default surname choice?

Is there a way to 'switch' the couple's locations, so that the man is on the left, and the woman on the right...?Hi Michael,
There is no way to switch the location of the man and woman in Reunion on your iPhone. However, you should be able to do it in Reunion on your Mac.
Please follow these steps...
1. Open Reunion on your iPhone and tap the "Sync" button.
2. Open Reunion 9 family file on your Mac and choose File -> iPhone -> Get Changes from iPhone.
3. Select the appropriate family file in the Get Changes from iPhone window and click "Get Changes."
4. After the two files have been synced, go to the appropriate family card in your family file on your Mac and adjust the sex of the two people you want to switch. (This can be done in the Edit Person window.) After saving those changes, you will see the woman on the right and the man on the left.
5. Repeat step 4 for each couple that needs attention.
6. Finally, upload your fixed family file to your iPhone by choosing File -> iPhone -> Put Family File on iPhone.
For example, I add a person, then spouse (wife), and children. Then I add the father to the husband, and his wife. Then i add their other children. Now, when these children are daughters, and i then go to add their spouses, the woman are on the left, rather than on the right.I am unable to duplicate this. When I add a female child she appears on the right. And, after adding her spouse, she still remains on the right.
Are you using the English version of Reunion on your iPhone? If not, what translation are you using?
Are you certain that the "Female" button is being selected when adding this new child?
(The buttons should appear in this order in the Add Child window: Unknown, Male, & Female.)
If so, let us know what version of Reunion (i.e. v1.0, v1.0.1 or v1.0.2) is on your iPhone, your iPhone OS (i.e. 2.2, 3.1, 3.1.2, etc.) and the version of Reunion 9 (i.e. v9.08, v9.09, v9.0a, etc.) on your Mac.
Thanks:-)
