Is there any way, without creating two separate people, to have a person appear in, for instance, Reunion's Index, under both surnames if they have used two or more names in their life?

For example, if a person is born John SMITH, and later changes his name to John JONES, I would like to have one person in my file, but I would like to have him appear under both John SMITH and John JONES when searching.

If there is no way to do this, then I offer it as a feature suggestion.

Cheers

See my post #3 in the thread "Which Surname?" in this forum (http://www.reuniontalk.com/showthread.php?t=403) for my data-entry protocol for recording a name progression as a Fact field--which, then, can easily be choosen as one of the columns to be shown in the Index. (I prefer such an additional Fact field over some convention of putting both names in the Last Name field.) Granted, it doesn't provide a separate, sorted, entry in the Index, but I—for one—wouldn't want such an additional entry so if such a capability is ever implemented, I'd want it to be an option.
