Reunion in English on iPod and French on Mac

Bonjour,

I was using the French version Reunion on my iMac OS 10.4.11 but had to use the English version on my Ipod Touch, since the French version is not available for the IPod. As I experienced synchronization problems (from Ipod back to my Mac only) I reinstalled the English version on my computer. This seems to have solved the problems. However I would really like to go back to using the French version on my Mac.

Do any of you have experience synchronizing Reunion between two devices without problems when using different language versions of the application?

Nevertheless, it is a fantastic software!

J'ai importé la dernière version anglaise sur mon disque dur dans un endroit différent de la version française. Pour utiliser mon iPhone, j'ouvre le fichier de famille avec la version anglaise. Sinon je fonctionne comme avant.

When you have a localised version of Reunion 9.09 on your Mac (Dutch, German, French), you can import the familyfile (or only a Markes set) and use this on your iPhone with the English version of Reunion.

Changes made on the iPhone Reunion, can sometimes give synchronising problems, when you try to put back the changed familyfile (English) to Reunion on the Mac (Dutch, French etc).
I experienced this problem also and after finishing the Dutch localised version (beta) of Reunion for iPhone, all the functions and also 'Sync' works correct.

For good and correct 'Sync function' it is necessary that you also need a localised version of Reunion on the iPhone.

Michele: switching between English and French version, simply check/uncheck the French language at the file Info panel of Reunion (when Reunion is not running).

Merci beaucoup ! Thank you so much for all your comments and suggestions. I can now use a localized version of Reunion in French on my computer and switch to English before importing new datas from my iPod.

I hope that in a near future a localized version for iPhone/iPodTouch will be available.

I'm very interesting for tranlate Reunion for iPhone in french, but I don't know how do that. I use iLocalize and ResMinder to translate Reunion 9.

Can you (summarily) help me ?

Its is not possible to localize direct in the programm (as you can do in Reunion for Mac), because its compiled.
