I've been away from genealogy for almost 2 years and now that my eyesight has improved I wanted to get back to work. I opened my family card and realized that the type was too small and my parents name was highlighted in blue, which I could not read. So. I decided to see if I could make some changes. Somehow I goofed because the family card had changed. There were no notes showing - there was nothing to click on. The child button had disappeared and was replaced with my child's name at the far left of the card with her age, birth, death, sex, across the card to the far right.

I made a copy of the card and it printed out correctly - the Note and notes were there but the child data remained the same.

I printed a Family Group Sheet and it looked more like a Family History than a group sheet (I did go to Create > Family Group Sheet). It also opened in Apple Works, which it did not do in the past. What do I do now? Can I go back and undo the changes I made?, if so, how do I do that?, Reinstall Reunion 8? Purchase Reunion 9? If I remember correctly the only changes I made was from Options > display. Please help!!!

It sounds like you may have accidentally changed the "view".

Try changing it back by using the view pop-up menu button at the top of the screen (with the eyeglasses icon) or by choosing Options -> Define -> Views.

Once you get things back in shape, you may want to change the fonts and font sizes for easier viewing (Options -> Fonts).
