A friend has a problem when unlinking marriages. Due to the way she imported different GedComs into her file, she has a number of couples married to each other numerous times. When she goes through the process to remove all bar one of the duplicate marriages (red arrow, edit spouses, remove link) the removed spouse names are replaced with the word "none". When I do the same process on my computer, with the same version of Reunion, the word none does not appear and I am left with the one , desirable spouse.
Both using Reunion 8.06, mine on a MacBook, X.4.11 and hers on a slightly earlier mac laptop and earlier version of X.
Any suggestions / thanks Gary

I've never figured out exactly how this comes about, but I do see it quite often when importing data into my file and then merging people together.

When I'm done on a project I usually have to remember to go through with a Find Anything for people who I've just imported (identified by Flags) and whose number of marriages is more than 1. Then go check each of them individually, and if there's a None, you can delete it from the Spouses pop up menu by choosing Edit Spouses, then deleting the one that says "None".
