I need to upgrade. I see that Reunion 8 does not seem to be for sale on Leister's website. It seems that I would have to upgrade first to Reunion 8 before I can go to Version 9. Maybe I am "out in left field" and do not fully understand how the upgrading works. I hope someone can set me straight.
Thanks ahead of time
Francie

Reunion 9 can directly open files from version 5, 6, 7, and 8.

So you'll be able to upgrade your version 7 files with version 9, and this is the recommended approach.

Can you explain how. I have an old 7 master pedigree that 9 will not recognize. I am using OS X ... before 9.1

This sounds like your file lost the filetype/creator when you moved it from OS 9 (or earlier) to OS X (perhaps with a PC-formatted memory stick?). See http://www.leisterpro.com/doc/version8/questions/answers/upgradeproblems.php for an explanation and possible fix.

Is 'master pedigree' a chart you've created in an older version? I know Reunion 9 can open charts from Reunion 8, but I don't know about previous versions and can't find that in the manual (my original post was about what family file versions Reunion supports).
