I have not been able to drag notes out of a note field to put them in another file. How is this done? There is a feature to "import" notes, but none to "export".

When you say "another file", to where do you want to export them? You can copy the note by clicking cntrl, cmd, shift,4 all at the same time. This gives you a cross hair cursor for a screen capture of the note. It captures the note onto the clipboard and you can copy it into a text file of your choosing. I did notice that when you do this, you cannot copy the captured note into another person's note field.

Can't you simply "copy-paste" ?

In that vein, I found a terrific, free, multiple clip "holder"..KoolClip. Available in all the usual places.

The reason you can't "copy the captured note into another person's field" is because the key combination you've described takes a "picture" of the note, and the end result is a graphic file of one format or another (depending on just which version of Mac OS you have).

As SGilbert notes, you could simpley copy and paste...

Command A to select all, or highlight the part you want to copy
Command C to copy
Go to where you want to put it
Command V to paste.

But to the original question - there is no support in Reunion for drag and drop editing of text already in Reunion.

There is support to drag a text file or clipping into a Reunion window and have the contents of the file appear in Reunion, as well as the ability to have a Notes field "import" a text file.

Thank you for this! It's the info I need.
