Search for Wife with Married Name

A question came up recently because someone was asking for information about a distant relative in my family. I knew their married name but not their maiden name, and their first name is common enough it was not at all easy to sort through all people with that first name to find them.

So, is there an easy way in Reunion to find someone using their married name as their last name? If not, this would be a fantastic feature to have. And if this is not easy, any recommendations on the fastest way to go about this sort of search in a Reunion file?

    Thank you.

You need to do a search with conditions.

    Married name is "Johnson"
    AND
    Last Name is not "Johnson"

I've attached a screenshot so you can see for yourself.

And you can attach a third condition like "First & Mid Name" contains "Anne"

You can search by married name in the People sidebar by putting a dash in front of the married name, e.g.:

        -MarriedName, FirstName
