I'm a newby, and after importing from Family Tree Maker, I find I've entered duplicates. Any ideas on an easy way to elimate the duplicates and perhaps renumbering so the families are similarly numbered?

Drag any dups to the clipboard and delete from there. Renumbering is not needed, as Reunion only uses that internally, and any subsequent additions will fill in the empty numbers.

But depending on the amount of info entered, you might want to merge instead of erase.

Thank you for your help. I'll check into the clipboard, but I'm not sure just how to merge. Is there a printed manual for this program?

Not as far as I recall, but the online manual has a search feature. Use that, and you should come up with some info on merging. The clipboard doesn't come into it, IIRC.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking up how to merge. Janie Grohs
