Unused ID#'s

The People Side Bar indicates 8216 people. The next available ID# is 8221. I therefore have four ID#'s that are not being reused no matter how many times I 'Rebuild Cache Files'
Is there an easy solution?

Hi Gordon,

Are you sharing this file via Dropbox with ReunionTouch on an iOS device?

If so, try going to:

File -> Sharing Status...

And clicking "Reset Sharing", then see if the problem persists. If not, let us know.

Hi Mark,
Sharing Status says: 'This file is not being shared'. Earlier copies of the file (ASHBURY 6.7) have been deleted from my iPad and iPhone while I update the master file (now retitled ASHBURY 6.9). I notice that in my Dropbox there is an earlier version that I sent to you sometime in July (also 6.7).

Ok, in that case try saving a backup copy using:

File -> Save a Backup Copy...

And open the resulting backup, then see if the problem persists. If it does, send us your family file and we'll take a look at the issue here.

That seems to have done the trick - the Backup Copy allows me to fill the unused ID #s. I am however left with another problem - the Backup Copy has not transferred the 3000 or so 'marked' people.
