Rename Master File?

I want to rename my master file which is in DropBox. If I do that, will it break the hundreds of links to photos that are stored on my iMac?

Also, with this new system of Reunion 11 on DropBox, is there any point to making backup files at all any more?

No, it will not break any links.

Also, with this new system of Reunion 11 on DropBox, is there any point to making backup files at all any more?

I do - using TimeMachine - that way it's possible to go back in time way more than you can with DropBox if you ever have a need to retrieve an earlier version of your file.
