    image aspect ratio

Is there a way to set the aspect ratio for a picture when cropping it? When cropping pictures to show a person's face, I'd like to restrict the aspect ratio to, say, 3x4 because it makes for a nicer display in family tree view.

    Thanks!

Most photo editing programs have a way to crop to a specific aspect. In Photos, open the photo, click 'edit', and then on the right side, click 'crop'. At the bottom right you will see an option for 'aspect'; click that. You can then choose from one of the presets, or click 'custom' to choose your own aspect.

If you are not using Photos, let us know what you are using so we can help you find the option to choose aspect.

Or if you are thinking it would be nice to have such a feature in Reunion, start a thread in the Wish List category.
