Changing Event Types

In doing a merge, I ended up with some event types that I'd like to rename to match what I've been using, preferably without deleting the event and reentering it.

Example: I use "census" to enter census dates and places, but one file I merged used "*new{census}".

Is there anyway to do this?

You could try changing the name of the field. Choose Options -> Define -> Person Fields to do this. Once you've located the field on the Events tab, you can edit its name. If the "Census" label is already in use, try changing the field name to "CensusA" or something similar. We're working on a better way to handle this.
