    Editing in ReunionTouch on 9.1

After putting 9.1 on my iPad 2, some kind of editing or copy/paste panel rises up from the bottom of the screen whenever I touch a field to input or edit data. I have never seen this before, although it may have existed. I'm attaching a screen shot.

Just checking to see if this is a common issue.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,

It's predictive text, introduced in iOS 8.

You can turn it on/off in Settings > General > Keyboard.

You can also turn it on/off by touching and holding the emoji button on the keyboard, depending on the field being edited.

You can also hide the predictive text bar by swiping it down. It is then replaced by a narrow line which you can swipe up to reveal the predictions again.

    Regards,

    Warren S Gilbert

Are you using an external keyboard with this iPad?

I am. A Logitech bluetooth keyboard.

            Thanks David.

In some views in ReunionTouch the space for the software keyboard is still being occupied by a light gray box when a hardware keyboard is connected to your device.

This problem will be fixed in the next free update to ReunionTouch. We expect to release ReunionTouch 1.0.3 in the next few weeks.

            Thanks for the report.

Just wondering if a version of Touch is coming anytime soon to fix the problem of the big blank space that comes up when you edit text using a bluetooth keyboard?

                Thanks,
                David
