    Pictures-Thumbnails or Hi-Res

Do both thumbnails and Hi-Res pictures transfer to an iPad? I really only want the thumbnails as space can become an issue on both the iPad and Dropbox. Currently ReunionTouch shows image thumbnails correctly as I only have a few hundred and those hi-res don't take a lot of space, but adding more will increase the space requirements.
Is there a switch for thumbnails versus hi-res & thumbnails?

If by "Hi-Res pictures" you mean the original image files or copies thereof, the answer is no.

For example, if you've linked somebody in Reunion to a 3000x3000 pixel image that requires 3 MB of disk space, that picture file is not saved inside the Reunion family file (and thus it is not utilized by the devices).

Using the same example, here's what does happen...

    • you link somebody to an original image file -- in our example, 3000x3000 pixels.
    • Reunion makes two thumbnail versions of the original image that are stored internally. One is 200x200, one is 1000x1000.
    • These thumbnails are used for different purposes.
    • ReunionTouch on your device never deals with the original image -- the big one.
    • ReunionTouch does use the two smaller renditions.
